Materials:
Plastic bags
Cardboard
Pen scissors
Ruler
Large coffee cup or similar sized round object
Scrap paper
Large needle or bobby pin

To make wool from plastic bags:
1 Fold a plastic bag in half lengthwise
2 fold it again in half lengthwise
3 fold it one more time in half lengthwise
4 cut off the closed end and the handles
5 cut 1 ¼ inch wide strips
6 open the strips and place 1 loop underneath the second loop
7 pull the bottom loop up over the one on top of it and through its own loop on top
8 pull until a knot forms
Repeat with other strips of the same color to make a long rope (your plastic wool)

Trace a circle around the large coffee cup on a piece of cardboard and a piece of scrap paper

Fold the paper circle in half
Align it to the edge
Mark a ¾ inch long line at each end

Fold the half circle in half again to form a quarter circle

Align the straight edges of the quarter circle with the pen marks and the edge of the cardboard circle
Make a ¾ inch line on the top and bottom

Fold the quarter circle into thirds and crease
Place it between the quarter lines
And mark on the edge of the cardboard where the paper’s thirds creases are
Repeat between all the quarter lines

At each mark you just made make a line ¾ inch long

Make a dot between the bottoms of each line

Make angled cuts from the top of the lines to the dots on each side

Make a hole in the center
Your flower loom is ready

bring the plastic bag wool through the back of the flower loom
Bring it behind one of the spokes and up on its left side to the right side of the spoke opposite

Bring the wool behind the spoke from the right side coming back to the front at the left side
Bring it down to the spoke to the right of the one opposite
Go behind the right side and up from it’s left

Bring the wool up to the spoke on the right side of the opposite spoke
And then behind and back to the front on it’s left side

Repeat until all the spokes have been done 2 times

Thread the wool onto the needle or bobby pin.
Insert it between 2 loops and through the hole in the center of the cardboard

Thread another color onto the needle and stick it through the hole from the back

Bring the needle behind a loop
And over back through the same spot
Bring the needle behind the loop on the left
And over to its right side
Repeat until you have done all the loops

For the second row
Bring the needle over 2 loops
Bring it behind and up through the middle of the loop between them
Repeat until you have done all the loops

Insert the needle through to the back and tie together the strings on the back
Cut off the excess

And lift the petals off the spokes
