How to make a Fairy Wand

This guide will show you how to cut out a 5 pointed star and make a fairy wand.

Difficulty level: Beginners

Instructions:

Materials:
1 sheet of printer paper or paper of similar size
Paper glue
Colored paper
Scissors
Chop stick, skewer or similar round thin stick
Optional sparkles

Fold the printer paper in half lengthwise.
Cut along the crease to make 2 pieces

Glue the 2 pieces together to get a long peice

Use the chopstick to roll up the bottom edge of the paper.
Do one side at a time and the middle to make a curl upwards.

Place the chopstick in the center bottom edge and roll up the paper as tightly as you can.
Apply glue to the open edge and roll it closed.

Result

Take 2 square pieces of scrap paper to make the template for the star.
One 3.5 inches square and the second 2 ¾ inches square

Bring the bottom edge up to the top edge to fold it in half

Fold the right bottom corner up to the left side about 1/3 of the way from the top
