How to make easy decorative accents for the bathroom with leftover wall paint.

This guide will show you how to use that little bit of wall paint left in the can to make some easy decorative plastic bottles for the bathroom.

Difficulty level: Beginners

Instructions:

Materials:
Plastic bottles from items you use in the bathroom
Decorative paper in colors that match the paint and your towels or other color accents you have in the bathroom.
Glue
Leftover wall paint
Paintbrush
Scissors

* The bottles used in this guide are from liquid soap and mouthwash

Remove the stickers and the caps from the bottles.
Coat the bottle with the paint. Do not paint the top area that the cap covers.

In this case, the towels are light blue and the paper has a light blue and white design
One bottle was painted white and the second was painted light blue.
*You can use any color you have and any combinations you like.

Let the paint dry completely
The flat even areas of the bottles are easiest to cover with paper.
In this case a strip of paper was cut to wrap around the flat area in the middle of the bottle.

A rectangle of paper was cut and glued to the flat area in the front and back of the second bottle.
If you want to make the paper a little more durable you can coat it with white glue. The glue will dry clear.

Have fun experimenting with colors and papers!

Tips

These bottles are for the counter top and not the shower.
