This guide will show you how to weave paper strips to make a Star of David. You can make one or many on a string for a garland - good for Sukkot or other Jewish holidays

Difficulty level: Beginners

Instructions:

Materials
Colored paper
Paper glue stick
Scissors to cut the strips

Cut 6 equal sized strips of paper – In this guide the length is 6 times the width

Glue 3 strips together to make a triangle

Insert a strip in under the left top of the triangle,
as shown in the the photo

Insert a strip under the right side of the triangle and under the right end of the first strip,
as shown in the photo.

* do not glue yet

Insert the third strip under the bottom of the triangle and also under the last strip. Bring the top end up over the left side of the triangle

Put glue where the 3 strips meet. Do not press everything in place until you are satisfied with the placement of the strips.

Put some glue at the top where the 2 triangle meet to hold them in place.

Your star of David is ready to hang alone or make many more to put on string for a garland.
