How to make a Purim card in the shape of a Hamantaschen cookie

This guide will show you how easy it is to divide a circle into the 3 equal parts to make a Purim card in the triangle shape of a Hamantaschen cookie.

Difficulty level: Beginners

Instructions:

Materials:
Colored paper for the card
Scrap paper
Round object to trace the circle
Ruler
Pen
Scissors

Trace the outline of the circular object 1 time on scrap paper and 1 time on the paper you are using for the card.

Result

Fold the scrap paper circle in half - bottom to top
Unfold

Fold the circle in half - side to side
Unfold

Fold the right side of the circle to the center.
Unfold

Use your ruler to draw a straight line from the top of the middle crease through the half way point of the right side as shown in the picture

Fold the left side to the middle
Unfold

Use your ruler to draw a line from the top of the middle crease through the half way point on the left side as shown in the picture.

Draw a line connecting the bottom points of the 2 lines

*The 3 points of the triangle that you drew divide the circle into 3 equal parts

Fold the sides of the circle inward along the lines that you drew.

Place it on top of the circle you are using for the card.

Fold one side up over the edge of the triangle

Fold the other 2 sides up over the edges of the triangle

Unfold and remove the scrap paper triangle.
Refold along the creases of the triangle and overlap the right side of each corner.

Your Purim card in the shape of a Hamantaschen cookie is folded!

Unfold, write your message inside, refold and add your message on the outside.
