Acrylic paints dry very quickly. Do not let paint dry on the brush.

The moment you finish painting, with the brush, rinse it off under running water.
If you cannot get to a faucet right away, wipe off the paint with a clean rag and swirl it around in clean water.

Put the brush in clean water for as short a time as possible. It is not good for the brush to have the weight of the handle pushing down on the bristles.

If you want to use the brush right away for more painting, rinse it off under running water, squeeze out the water and reshape it with your fingers.

If you are using oil paints, wipe off the paint on a rag and swirl it around in turpinetine or special cleaners sold for cleaning oil paints

When you have finished using the brushes put soap in the palm of your hand and swirl the bristles in the soap.

Rinse off the brush under running water and repeat soaping it up and rinsing until the water runs clear.

Make sure the base of the brush head is clean.

There are some pigments that may stain the brush slightly

Gently squeese excess water from the brush head and shape the brisles with your fingers

Stand the paintbrush with the head up to allow the hairs to dry.
Always store the brushes with the head up.

Use the protective tube it came with if you still have it
