How to polish your car

Are there are marks, nicks or scratches on you car or do you just think it's time to polish it?

Difficulty level: Advanced

Instructions:

Buy some polish
Get a sponge and some soft dry rags

Park your car in the shade.

Wash the car thoroughly. Dirt will create a dull finish and grit will scratch your car when you buff it.

Make sure it is dry before you apply polish. Use a soft clean rag to dry it completely and prevent water spots.

Take some polish (not too much) with a sponge and spread it onto the car.

Work on about 1 foot or 2 at a time.

When the polish has dried to an opaque color use a clean, soft, dry rag to buff it.

Buff it firmly and evenly in all directions until it turns clear and you see a shine.
It will take a few minutes on each area.
