How to make a pop-up menorah card for Hanukkah

This guide will show you a simple way to make an impressive pop-up menorah. The menorah stands up by itself when the card is opened all the way.
This card is easy enough for children to make.

Difficulty level: Beginners

Instructions:

materials:
A long rectangle paper – the length should be about 3 times the width
Scissors
Paper glue stick
Colored markers or colored papers for decoration

Fold the paper in half

Place the paper with the open end at the top
Fold the bottom edge up to ¼ inch below the top

Unfold the paper

Put glue (*only) from the center crease line until the next crease line on the left
Fold the paper in half to glue

Turn the paper so that the open part is at the top

Fold down the top layer at the crease. Press down on the crease to make it sharp- then unfold

Flip the paper to the other side and repeat

Turn the paper so that the closed glued side is at the top

Draw your menorah
*It is very important that the bottom of the menorah come down to the edges of the paper at the crease

Cut out along your menorah’s outlines
