How to make traditional origami harebell flower

This guide will show you how to make the traditional origami harebell flower.
This is a simple flower to fold and it is very impressive.

Difficulty level: Beginners

Instructions:

Materials:
1 square sheet of paper with a different color on each side

Follow steps 2 to 9 to make square base

Place the color side up that you want the outside of the flower to be.

Place the paper with the points at the top, bottom and sides.

Fold in half horizontally. Unfold

Fold in half vertically . Unfold

Flip the paper over to the back side.
Place it so that the points are on the top and bottom sides.

Fold in half horizontally. Unfold

Fold in half vertically . Unfold.

Pinch all the diagonal folds to crease them. Continue to squeeze and the other folds will go inward as you do so.

Result

Press it down flat

Rotate the paper so that the open end is at the top.

Fold the bottom sides to align with the center crease

Result
Fflip the paper over and repeat on the back side

Fold the top sides down to align with the center crease.

Fold up the bottom edges of the 2 flaps you just created to align with the outside edges.
Crease sharply and unfold.

Unfold the last 2 steps
On each side separately, stick your finger between the 2 layers from the top and squash down with your thumb along the crease coming up

Result

Book fold – bring one side over as you would the page of a book
And repeat in the back

Fold down along the creases
Flip over to the other side and repeat
