How to fold a letter into an envelope that has an interesting design with flaps at the sides

This guide will show you how easy it is to fold a letter into an envelope. If you pull on the flaps it spreads and makes it easy to open

Difficulty level: Beginners

Instructions:

All you need is a letter or rectangle paper

Hold the paper with the writing side facing up.
Fold the paper in half lengthwise. Crease and unfold

Fold the corners to the center crease

Rotate the paper so that the folded points are at top and bottom as shown in the picture

Fold it in half by bringing the bottom straight edge up to align with the top straight edge

Result. Unfold

Fold the top and bottom edges to align with the center crease

Result

Flip the paper over to the back side
Bring the top left corner down to the bottom edge and the bottom right corner up to the top edge

Result

Flip the paper over to the back and rotate it so the long edges are on the top
and bottom

Fold the sides straight towards the center at the points the slanted edges end

Lift up the top left flap and insert it into the right pocket

Push it in all the way and repeat for the right top flap

Your letter envelope is finished!

Pull on the side flaps to open it.
