How to fold an origami talking puppet – children’s origami

Steps

   Materials: 1 square piece of paper Pen or colors pencils to draw the face

   Hold the paper with the points at the top, bottom and sides Fold in half by bringing the top and bottom points together. Crease and unfold Fold in half in the opposite direction by bringing the side points together. Crease and unfold

   Fold the 4 points to the center

   Flip the paper over to the back side Fold the 4 corners to the center

   Flip the paper over to the back side Fold one flap to the top and one flap to the bottom Give them a sharp crease and unfold them Use the creases to fold them under

   Draw eyes and a mouth on the 2 flaps you just folded under

    Crease the center horizontal fold again to sharpen it

    Pinch to crease only the flaps with the face draw on them

    Hold the 2 sides of the horizontal crease. When you push your hands together and pull them out again the mouth opens and closes. Have fun with your new toy!
