How to make a snowflake from toothpicks

Steps

   Step 1

   
   Materials: 6 toothpicks Aluminum foil for baking

   Step 2

   
   Cut 24 pieces of aluminum foil about 1 ½ X longer than the toothpicks

   Place each of the 6 toothpicks at the bottom center of a piece of foil and roll them up

   Step 4

   
   Twist the foil around the toothpicks until you get to the bottom of the toothpicks. Put them aside

   Make a small fold at the bottom of the remaining pieces of foil.

   Roll them up along the fold

   Twist the ends

   Place a the toothpick on top of the center of the twisted foil. Crisscross it around the toothpick Do this on all 6 toothpicks.

   Place the toothpick on top of another rolled foil. Crisscross it under the first twisted foil. Do this on all 6 toothpicks.

    Repeat the last step with a third piece of foil

    Place the toothpicks on top of each other and twist the bottoms of the foil together.

    Spread the toothpicks

    Roll up a long piece of foil and weave it between the toothpicks

    Squeeze and pinch the foil around the center.

    Weave another rolled up piece of foil around the center . The weave should be on top if the last was on the bottom and visa-versa. Squeeze and pinch it tightly around the center.

    Pinch and squeeze the foil to make it tight and to adjust the spacing.
