How to make an origami crane.

Steps

   Materials: 1 square piece of paper

   Skip to step 9 if you know how to fold the square base. Place the paper with the points at the top, bottom and sides. Fold in half horizontally and unfold.

   Fold in half vertically and unfold.

   Flip the paper over to the back side. Place the paper so that the straight edges are on top, bottom and sides. Fold in half horizontally and unfold.

   Pinch all the diagonal folds. Continue to squeese them together and the horizontal folds will fold inward..

   Squash down the paper.

   Make sure the open end of the paper is at the bottom. Bring the 2 sides to the center crease and align the edges.

    Fold the bottom point up along the straight edge of the folds you made in the last step. unfold
