You can make the game more difficult by allowing pairs to be taken with the same number value but only those of the same color.

Step 1
Concentration is played with a full deck of 52 cards. The cards are placed face down in rows with 8 or 9 cards in each row. - 2
Step 2
A player turns over 2 cards. If the 2 cards match in number value, they are put in the player's pile and the player takes another turn. If they do not match they are turned back over and the other player takes a turn. - 3
Step 3
The players try to remember which cards were turned over so that when it is their turn to play they turn over a pair. - 4
Step 4
The players take turns until all the cards are taken from the rows. The one with the most pairs wins the game.
