This guide will show you how easy it is to fold an Origami pencil. It is a fun project for children and makes a nice decoration.

Difficulty level: Beginners

Instructions:

Materials:
Rectangular paper with one side colored

Place the paper with the colored side facing down and the short ends on the top and bottom.

Fold it in half lengthwise.
Unfold

Fold the right top corner down to the center crease

Flip the paper over to the back side.

Bring the right top straight edge down and align it to the left edge

result

Flip the paper over again.

Bring the left straight edge over to the right and fold it
along the crease.

Make a fold from the top point to top right corner of the colored rectangle.

Make a fold from the top point to the top left corner of the colored rectangle.

result

Flip the paper over to see your finished colored pencil.

Tips

If you want to make a longer pencil use a longer rectangle of paper.
