1. In this guide you will learn how to change your page to landscape,
combine many paths
and how to use the Path Division tool.

2. Click on File - Document Properties.
Check marks on Show page border and Border on top of drawing.
 
Click on Landscape if you want your page to be horizontal.  

3. Click on the Bezier tool and draw a line at an angle  

4. Click on the top of the line,
drag a  line down at an angle,  click and drag a line to complete a triangle.  

5. Click on the triangle - Ctrl and D on your keyboard.
Move the copy with the arrow key on your keyboard.
Repeat a few more times.  

6. Click on a triangle.
Drag the arrows on the selection box to change the height and width.
Repeat on all the triangles.  

7. Select all the triangles.
Click on Path - Object to Path.  

8. Select a triangle.
Click on Edit Path by Nodes tool.
Touch the triangle on the side near the top and drag it a tiny bit to round it slightly for a more organic look.
Repeat on the other side of the triangle.  

9. Repeat on all the triangles.
Select all the triangles.
Click on Path - Combine.  

10. Select the Rectangle tool.
Drag a rectangle big enough to cover all the triangles
Select the rectangle and lower it to the bottom.  

11. Select all - Ctrl and A.
Click Path - Division.  

12. Click outside the page.
Click on the rectangle to select it - Delete it.
Click on each section and change the colors.   
*If you get a large section when trying to select a small one, click on that large section and the lower to bottom icon - Step 10 and then click on the small section.  

13. Draw black circles.
Place some on the tips of the triangles.
Draw a line from one of the circle across a colored section.  

14. Select the line, use the Shift key to also select  the section.
 Click on Path - Division  

15. Click outside the page to see the result.  

16. Draw more lines over sections you want to divide.  
 
Select a section that you want to divide and then the line on top of it - then - Path - Division or use Ctrl and /
 
Change the colors of the sections.
 
Draw more circles.
 
Draw lines from the circles. Make the line width 1.  
 
* If you want to fit everything inside of the page, click Edit - Select all or Ctrl and A. Drag the selection to fit inside the page. You can experiment with any colors and line widths.   Enjoy!
