How to make a bow for a present from strips of paper.
Make your next gift special with these paper bows. This is a great way to use that gift wrapping paper you saved or old magazines and scrap paper.

Steps

Step 1
Materials: Scrap paper Wrapping paper or magazines Ruler Paper glue - 2
Step 2
Cut the paper into: 3 strips - 9 inches X ¾ inch 3 strips - 8 inches X ¾ inch 3 strips - 7 inches X ¾ inch 1 strip - 3 ½ inches X ¾ inch - 3
Step 3
Take the shortest strip. Bring the ends around to make a ring and glue them together. - 4

Fold the remaining 8 strips in half and unfold. - 5

With the colored or patterned side down, take the right top edge and bring it down to the left. - 6

Place the now right edge corner on the halfway crease mark. It should be at an angle with the left edge below the crease mark. Glue it in place. - 7

Turn the paper around, repeat the directions but align the end of the paper to the end of the other loop. Glue it in place - 8

Repeat for the remaining 8 strips of paper. - 9

Glue one of the largest looped strips you just make at the center of another loop of the same size. * It should be at an angle and leave room for the next looped strip to be at an equal distance. - 10

Glue the third of the largest strips on top of the last. - 11

Repeat for the next largest strips placing their points between the existing ones. - 12

Repeat for the remaining smaller strips - 13

Glue the ring strip to the center and your bow is ready!
