How to make a bow for a present from strips of paper.

Steps

   Materials: Scrap paper Wrapping paper or magazines Ruler Paper glue

   Cut the paper into: 3 strips - 9 inches X ¾ inch 3 strips - 8 inches X ¾ inch 3 strips - 7 inches X ¾ inch 1 strip - 3 ½ inches X ¾ inch

   Take the shortest strip. Bring the ends around to make a ring and glue them together.

   Fold the remaining 8 strips in half and unfold.

   With the colored or patterned side down, take the right top edge and bring it down to the left.

   Place the now right edge corner on the halfway crease mark. It should be at an angle with the left edge below the crease mark. Glue it in place.

   Turn the paper around, repeat the directions but align the end of the paper to the end of the other loop. Glue it in place

   Repeat for the remaining 8 strips of paper.

   Glue one of the largest looped strips you just make at the center of another loop of the same size. * It should be at an angle and leave room for the next looped strip to be at an equal distance.

    Glue the third of the largest strips on top of the last.

    Repeat for the next largest strips placing their points between the existing ones.

    Repeat for the remaining smaller strips
