How to make a star from rolled paper beads

Steps

   Materials: 15 paper beads Pipe cleaners Scissors

   The beads used in this guide are: 10 beads - 1 ½ inch long of one color 5 beads - ¾ inch long of another color

   Fold a pipe cleaner in half Insert 1 of the long beads on one side Insert another long bead and a short bead on the other side

   Bend the pipe cleaner where the short and long bead meet Twist the pipe cleaner 2 times to hold it in place

   Insert 2 long beads on the short pipe cleaner

   Fold the pipe cleaner between the 2 long beads. Insert a short bead on the other pipe cleaner

   Twist the short end of the pipe cleaner tightly around the long end

   Add another pipe cleaner by twisting the ends together

   You will need to pass beads over the connection so twist the ends tightly.

    Slide 2 long beads and 1 short bead up the pipe cleaner. Fold the pipe cleaner between the 2 long beads.

    Bend the short bead to the right.

    Twist the pipe cleaner around the end of the triangle next to it.

    Insert the pipe cleaner through the small bead of the triangle you just made Pull it through all the way

    Repeat steps 10 to 13 until you have 5 triangles Insert the end of the pipe cleaner through the short bead of the first triangle

    Pull it through all the way Insert the end through one of the long beads

    Pull it through to the top and make a loop

    Twist the loop Cut off the end of the pipe cleaner but leave about ½ of the length of the long bead.

    Insert the end of the pipe cleaner into the long bead Push it in all the way.

    Straighten the loop and you star is ready to hang!
