How to make star decorations with paper strips. Children's crafts

Steps

   Materials: paper, scissors, paper glue stick

   The star in the picture is 2 3/4 inch wide and was made with a 3 1/2 inch long paper.

   For larger stars use larger paper.

    

   Make a fold of about 1/2 inch at the top of the paper.

   Bring the bottom edge up to the crease you just made.

   Crease and glue the flap down.

   Cut 6 strips of equal width for each star.

   *The 3 1/2 inch long paper was cut into 1/2 inch strips.

   Open, squash the creases together and then flatten.

   You will need 6 of these

   On one strip put glue from the top to the crease. Do not pass the crease.

   Align the second loop on top of the first with the glue.

    Repeat until you have 6 pieces glued

    Bring the left and right end loops around and glue them together

    Press the points lightly to shape the star

    and it is ready to hang.
