How to make a magic cube from strips of paper
This guide will show you how to make cubes from strips of paper and how to hinge them together with strips of paper to form a magic cube toy. Enjoy!

Step 1
Materials: Paper strips of equal width Paper glue - 2

Place a strip vertically on the table Place another strip on top of it horizontally Make sure that the edges are aligned Fold the bottom strip up and over the edge of the top strip - 3

Result Fold the side strip up and over the side - 4

Result Fold the strip down over the side of the top edge - 5

Continue folding the strips up and over the one above - 6

Unfold the strips Cut off 5 squares Make all the folds in the same direction - 7

Take a strip of 5 squares. Bring the top square around and over the bottom square to make a “ring”. Glue it in place. *make sure the edges are aligned Make 3 “rings” for each cube - 8

Insert 1 “ring” into another as shown in the picture - 9

Gently push it through and straighten the sides - 10

Take the cube you just made and insert it into a third “ring” This will make the cube sturdier - 11
