How to make a ninga star also know as a Shirkin, 4 pointed star or throwing star
This is an easy origami model to make and it can be thrown!

Steps

Step 1
You will need 2 identical rectangle peices of paper. It is easiest to take a square peice of paper and cut it in half to get 2 identical halves.

Fold both rectangles in half lengthwise

Fold both papers in half widthwise and unfold them.

Take one paper with the open side facing down. Fold the left corner down to the bottom edge. Fold the right corner up to the top edge.

Take the other paper also with the open side pointing down. This time you will do the opposite. Fold the left corner up to the top edge. Fold the right corner down to the bottom edge.

You should have the 2 peices folded in the opposite directions as in the picture.

Take the first paper you folded and fold it up from the center crease.

Fold the right side down to the center crease so that it aligns with the flap you just made.

Take the other paper and fold the left side down at the center crease.

You should have the 2 papers folded in the opposite directions as shown in the picture.

Flip the first paper over to the back side. Rotate the second paper and place it on top of the first in the center as shown in the picture. Fold the paper on the bottom along the flap

Result Tuck the paper you just folded under the top flap.

Flip the paper over to the back side. Fold the top down along the flap.
