How to make a paper mache bowl

Steps

   Materials: Wrapping paper, scrap paper or even newspaper Glue stick Plastic bag Bowl Scissors Can or jar

   Put the bowl in the plastic bag

   Push the bowl into the bottom of the plastic bag. Smooth the bag around the shape of the bowl.

   Place the bowl upside down on top of a can or jar.

   Rip the wrapping paper into small pieces. Coat the underside of the paper and start covering the base of the bowl

   Press the pieces to the shape of the base of the bowl

   Continue covering the bowl with paper

   Paste paper beyond the rim Do at least 2 layers

   Coat small areas of the bowl with glue

    and smooth the paper against the bowl

    When the glue has dried fold the paper over the edge of the bowl and give it a good crease

    Open the folds you just made. Carefully remove the paper from the bowl.

    Put the bowl on top of the can or jar Put the plastic bag on top of the bowl

    Put the paper bowl on top of the bag Glue at least 2 layers of paper pieces to the inside Coat with glue and smooth it out

    When the glue has dried remove the paper bowl. Use the crease you made in step 11 as a guide to cut off the paper sticking out

    Put glue around the rim. Press it together and smooth it down
