How to make a paper tray
This is a quick and easy way to fold a tray from a paper square and a paper strip.

Materials:
1 paper square
1 long paper strip
Paper glue
Scissors

Fold the paper square in half horizontally.

Fold it in half vertically.

Place the paper with the points at the top, bottom and sides.
The crease marks make an X.
Fold the bottom tip up to the center of the X.

Fold the remaining 3 tips to the center.

Fold a tip to the crease you just made.

The width you need for the paper strip is measured from the bottom of the triangle to the crease of the square.
Put the paper strip under the triangle and mark where the crease is.
Cut the whole strip the width that you measured.

Remove the paper strip and fold all the points to the crease lines.

Align the folded square to the end of the paper strip.
Use the edges of the square to make 4 folds .
Cut the paper strip about 2 inches longer.

Lift and fold the triangles over the top edge of the folded strip.
Make sure the corners of the strip are at the corners of the paper square.
Glue the triangles to the paper strip.
