How to make a paper vase
This guide will show you how to make a paper vase for light weight paper flowers. You can also use this neat standing shape to write table numbers on with or without flowers.

Step 1
Materials:
1 peice of sturdy paper twice the height of the width - * This is a tall thin vase. To make it shorter make the height of the paper shorter.
1 different color piece of sturdy paper the same width but 1/4 the height
Round object
Scissors
Paper glue
Pen or penci

Place both papers with the short edges at the top and bottom.
Make a 1 inch fold at the top of both papers. Unfold

Fold the bottom edges up to the crease.

Fold the bottom edges up to the crease again.

Take the smaller paper
Place half of the circular object, in the middle at the side of the folded part.
Trace around the half circle and then cut it out.

Unfold the papers.
Place the large paper on top of the small paper, halfway down to the top of the arcs. Make sure it is straight and all the creases are aligned.

Rotate the paper so that the little fold is at the bottom.
Fold up the little fold. Put glue on. Fold the top edge down on the glue.

A little piece of the small folded area will be sticking out of the arc. Cut it off along the arc edge.

Separate the paper along the creases and your paper vase is finished!
