How to make a traditional origami bow tie

Steps

   Materials: 1 rectangular sheet of paper. The length should be twice the width.

   Place the paper with the short ends at the sides. Fold it in half horizontally. Unfold.

   Fold the 4 corners at an angle to the center crease.

   Fold the top and bottom edges to align with the center crease.

   Fold in half

   Place the paper with the folded edge at the top. Fold the 2 corners down to align with the center crease. Unfold.

   Lift up the top layer on the right side and fold it to the left along the center crease. Press down to flatten the triangle that pops up at the top.

   Result. Flip the paper over to the back side and repeat step 7.

   Fold down the top at the point where the straight side edges begin. Unfold.

    Fold one layer of the bottom corners to the center crease Flip over and repeat on back
