How to make an easy flower garland

Steps

   Materials: Colorful scrap paper drinking glass, coffee cup or similar circular object bottle cap or similar small circular object Scissors Paper glue Pen or pencil String for hanging the garland

   Choose the colored papers you want for the petals. Use the coffee cup or glass to trace circles on the paper

   Choose the papers you want for the centers of the flowers. Trace circles around a bottle cap or similar small round object

   Cut out the circles.

   Fold the large circle in half. Unfold

   Rotate the circle and align the crease you just made to fold it in half again

   Fold the straight edges on top down to the center crease

   Unfold. Cut slits on each crease about ½ way down.

    Cut strips of left over paper about 3 inches long and 1/4 inch wide

    Glue the ends together to make a loop

    Glue the bottom of the looped strips to the back of the flowers

    Make a small fold on all the left corners at the slits

    Slip string through the loops, knot in place and your decoration is ready.
