How to make an origami 8 pointed star from 2 pieces of paper

   Materials: 2 squares of equal size contrasting colors look best

   Both papers are folded in the same way. Fold in half horizontally. Unfold Fold in half vertically. Unfold

   Fold the 2 sides to the center crease.

   Fold the top and bottom edges to the center crease.

   Unfold the top fold you made in the last step. Stick your finger in and fold both sides from the center to the outer edge. . It will bring the top edge down. See the next picture for the result.

   Flatten the top down to the center crease.
