How to make an origami tulip

Steps

   Materials: 1 square sheet of paper

   If your paper is colored on one side place the colored side facing down. Fold the paper in half horizontally and unfold. Fold it in half vertically and unfold.

   Flip the paper over to the back side. Fold it in half diagonally in one direction and unfold. Fold it in half diagonally in the opposite direction and unfold.

   Pinch all the diagonal folds at the same time. Continue pressing them together until the horizontal folds go inwards. Squash it flat.

   Fold the side points up to the top point.

   Result Fold the left side to the right as if you were turning the page of a book. Flip the paper over and repeat on the back side.

   Bring the 2 side points together and insert the right point into the pocket of the left .

   Insert if as far as it will go and crease. Flip the paper over and do the same to the other side.

    Pull the folds you just made out a tiny bit. At the bottom there should be a little hole. Blow into the hole to inflate the model.

    Pinch the bottom to crease it.

    Pull down one petal.

    Pull down the other 3 petals and your origami tulip is ready to be put on a stem.
