Create vibrant paper flowers from paper strips. This craft is simple and suitable for kids.
Step 1: Prepare Paper Strips
Cut paper into strips. For each petal, cut two strips of the same color and length. A good size is 6 inches long and 0.5 inches wide. You need about 5-6 petals per flower.
Step 2: Make Petal Loops
Take two strips for one petal. Put a small dot of glue on one end of each strip. Bring the other end of each strip to the glued end, forming a loop. Press and hold until the glue sets. Repeat for all petals.
Step 3: Assemble the Flower
Arrange the petal loops in a circle on a flat surface. The glued ends should point inward toward the center. Glue the petals together at the center. Press firmly to secure.
Step 4: Add Stem and Finish
If using a stem, glue a green pipe cleaner or straw to the back of the flower. Let the glue dry completely. Your paper flower is ready for display.
