How to wrap a gift with pleats

   Materials: Wrapping paper Tape Scissors

   Unroll the wrapping paper and cut it 3 times the width of the present.

   Move the present to the long edge. Bring the edge up to the top of the side of the present. Bring the opposite side up to the top of the opposite edge of the present. Make a crease to mark where it ends.

   Cut the length of the paper along the crease you just made.

   Rotate the paper so that the short side is closest to you. Make a ½ inch fold and tape it in place.

   Fold over as many times you want pleats. Try 6 times for your first time. Unfold the folds.

   .Bring the second fold up over half way to the first

   Do the same with the following pleats.

   Turn the paper over and tape the folds in place at the center.

    Rotate the paper. Place the present in the center of the paper. Bring the sides up so that they overlap with the pleated side on top in the middle.

    Fold the short sides inward and run your finger along the edges to crease them.

    Pinch all the sides from the top to bottom and make sharp creases.

    On the side nearest to you, push the paper along the side edge towards the center. Make a sharp crease by running your finger along the edge. Repeat on other edge.

    Make a small fold at the bottom layer.

    Bring the folded edge up and tape it in place. Repeat on other side of the present.
