To draw circles on cardboard you will need:
Pen or pencil
Screw with sharp point
1 paper fastener
Cardboard to draw on
Cardboard strip about 1.5 inches larger than the radius of the circle you want to draw

If you fold a circle in half and draw a line over the crease, the length of the line is called the diameter of the circle.

The length of a line made from the center of the circle to the edge is called the radius. It is half the length of the diameter of the circle - shown in step 2

Decide on the size circle you want – the diameter – see step 2
You need a strip of cardboard about 2 inches longer than the radius of the circle. – see step 3

Make sure you leave at least 1/2 inch from the ends and punch 2 holes with your nail through the cardboard strip. The distance between the holes should be the same as the radius of the circle you want to draw. – step 3

*2 or more cardboard strips can be taped or glued together to draw an extremely large circle.
*The hole at one end should be big enough for the paper fastener to go through and rotate around.
Any other holes you make should be large enough for your pen point to go through.

Push the screw through the center of the cardboard piece you want to draw the circle on. Wiggle it around to make a hole large enough for the paper fastener to go through.

Use the paper fastener to attach one end of the cardboard strip to the center of the cardboard you want to draw on.

To draw a circle, insert the pen into a hole and rotate the strip.

If you want to make smaller circles within the large circle make more holes along the strip.

If the hole in the center is not good for your project you can use the cut out circles as templates.
