This guide will show you how to make a 3D snowflake from 6 squares of paper. It looks very complicated but is actually easy enough for children to make.

Difficulty level: Beginners

Instructions:

Materials:
6 squares of paper
Scissors
Paper glue
Pencil or chopstick optional

Place the square paper with the points at the top, bottom and sides
Bring the right point over to the left point to fold it in half

Bring the top point down to the bottom point to fold it in half again

Make 4 or 5 slits at an equal distance from each other as shown in the picture
*Do not cut all the way to the end

Carefully unfold the paper. You should see cuts as shown in the picture
Repeat step 2 to 4 to make 5 more

Lift the 2 triangles in the center

Bring them up and around and glue them together.
Do not flatten them. It helps to stick a pencil or chopstick under the flaps when pressing them together to glue them.

Flip the paper over to the back side
Lift the 2 center slit points

Bring them up and around and glue them together.

Flip the paper over again and glue the next center slit edges together

Continue flipping the paper over and gluing the center slit edges until you have done them all
