How to cut a carrot into heart shaped slices

   Materials: Carrot Vegetable peeler Sharp knife

   Peel, wash and cut off the ends of the carrot. Cut the carrot into about 1 inch pieces

   Cut out a V about 1/3 of the way in

   Stroke the vegetable peeler across the top a few times to round it off

   Cut the sides off at an angle to make a V

   Place the carrot on its side and cut slices
