How to Make a Circular Paper Doll Chain

What You'll Need
- Paper (8.5 x 11 inches or A4)

Fold paper, draw half a doll, cut, and unfold to reveal a circular chain of paper dolls holding hands.
Step 1: Prepare the Paper
Use one sheet of 8.5 x 11 inch or A4 paper. For a longer chain, tape multiple sheets together end to end before folding.
Step 2: Fold the Paper
Fold the paper in half lengthwise (hot dog style). Then fold in half again, and once more if needed, until the width is about 2 inches. Keep the folds tight and even.
Step 3: Draw the Doll
On the top folded edge, draw half of a paper doll. Extend the doll's hands to the folded edges on both sides. The hands must touch the folds to connect the chain.
Step 4: Cut Out the Doll
Cut along the drawn lines. Do not cut through the folded edges where the hands are. Leave those sections intact.
Step 5: Unfold the Chain
Gently unfold the paper. You will have a circular chain of paper dolls holding hands. Smooth out any creases.
Tip
Use thicker paper like cardstock for sturdier dolls. Draw simple shapes for easier cutting.
