How to make a Fairy Wand

Steps

   Step 1

   
   Materials: 1 sheet of printer paper or paper of similar size Paper glue Colored paper Scissors Chop stick, skewer or similar round thin stick Optional sparkles

   Fold the printer paper in half lengthwise. Cut along the crease to make 2 pieces

   Glue the 2 pieces together to get a long peice

   Use the chopstick to roll up the bottom edge of the paper. Do one side at a time and the middle to make a curl upwards.

   Place the chopstick in the center bottom edge and roll up the paper as tightly as you can. Apply glue to the open edge and roll it closed.

   Take 2 square pieces of scrap paper to make the template for the star. One 3.5 inches square and the second 2 ¾ inches square Bring the bottom edge up to the top edge to fold it in half

   Fold the right bottom corner up to the left side about 1/3 of the way from the top

   Fold the left side up along the left bottom edge of the flap you just folded.

    Fold the right side along the right edge of the flap you made in the last step

    Make a cut from halfway on the right side up to the left point.

    Open the cut papers Trace the large star 2 times on colored paper. Trace the small star 2 times on a different colored paper.

    Glue the smaller stars to the center of the larger stars

    Glue the end of the rolled paper to the back of one star.

    Glue to second star on top. Your fairy wand is finished!
