How to make a flower medallion - Teabag folding
This medallion is made with a technique known as teabag folding. It uses 8 identical folded circles with one side a different color than the other. It is easy enough for children to make and can be used to decorate greeting cards and gifts.

Steps

Step 1
Materials: 9 identical circles, with one side a different color or pattern than the other side Paper glue - 2
Step 2
Fold the circle in half. - 3
Step 3
Fold it in half again. Unfold - 4
Step 4
Fold the right bottom side up using the crease marks as a guide for where the edges of the crease should be. Repeat on left side - 5

The result should look like the photo - 6

Flip the paper over to the back side Bring the right bottom edge to align with the center crease mark. Repeat on the left side - 7

The result . Fold 7 more circles the same way. - 8

The extra circle will be the base. Fold it in half. Fold it in half again. Unfold all the folds. - 9

Glue 2 of the folded circles along the top and bottom crease marks on the base. - 10

Glue 2 folded circles along the horizontal crease marks - 11
Step 11
Glue the remaining 4 folded circles in each empty space. Lift each right flap so that it overlaps the one next to it and your medallion is finished.
