DIY Envelope from Circles: Easy Handmade Paper Craft
Make a unique envelope from three paper circles with this step-by-step guide.
What You'll Need
- 3 identical paper circles (e.g., 6-inch diameter)
- Glue stick or craft glue
- Scissors (if cutting circles)
- Compass or circular object for tracing (optional)
Create a handmade envelope using three identical paper circles. Choose decorative paper, cardstock, or recycled material.
Prepare the Circles
If you don't have pre-cut circles, use a compass or trace around a circular object to draw and cut three identical circles.
Fold the Circles
Take one circle and fold it exactly in half. Press firmly to create a crisp crease, then unfold. Repeat with the other two circles.
Assemble the Envelope
1. Overlap two folded circles slightly, aligning the center creases. Glue the overlapping area. 2. Place the third circle on top, aligning its crease with the others, and glue it in place. 3. Fold the bottom point up and the sides inward to form the envelope shape. Glue the side flaps.
Glue Application
Apply glue thinly and evenly to avoid wrinkles or seepage.
Decorate the Envelope
Add stamps, stickers, washi tape, or hand-drawn designs to personalize the front.
Your handmade envelope is ready for use.
