How to make a lanyard bracelet from paper
This bracelet has a really nice feel to it and it is easy to make. Many crafts made from plastic, ribbon, fabric and other materials can be adapted to paper. This guide will show you how to use the square stitch from plastic lanyard key chains to create a bracelet from paper strips.

Step 1
Materials: Paper strips of equal width Paper glue - 2
Step 2
Place one paper strip horizontally and another vertically - 3

Glue the vertical strip on top of the left edge of the horizontal strip. Make sure it is aligned at the side and top - 4

Hold a third strip vertically. Glue it on top of the horizontal strip - next to the left vertical strip. Make sure the bottom and sides are aligned - 5

Glue the fourth strip horizontally on top of the right vertical strip Make sure the bottom and right side is aligned You are finished setting up the strips and they are ready for weaving - 6

Bring the right vertical strip down - 7

Bring the right horizontal strip to the left and through the loop of the left vertical strip - 9

Bright the left horizontal strip through the loop of the right vertical strip - 10

Pull each strip gently a few times until they form a neat knot *Do not press down and crease the edges That’s it! That is how you make the box stitch. Repeat steps 6 to 10 until you get the length you want - 11

When you have come to the end of the strip and need to add more just align another strip to the end and glue it in place - 12

Continue adding strips and weaving them until you get a length that fits comfortably around your fist - 13

When you have gotten to the length you need put a generous amount of glue on the woven part. - 14

Bring the glued covered edge around to align with the bottom and press them together until the glue dries. - 15

Cut off the extra strips. Leave enough length to tuck into the loops - 16

Put glue on a strip edge and use your finger nail or a toothpick to tuck it neatly into the loop closest to it. Repeat for the other 3 strip ends - 17
