How to make a paper star pinwheel

Steps

   Step 1

   
   Materials: Paper Pin Pencil with eraser on top Paper glue Scissors Round object to trace circle Pen or pencil

   Trace the outline of the round object on the paper and cut out the circle

   Fold the circle in half

   Step 4

   
   Fold the half circle into thirds

   Bring the right side to the left to fold it in half one more time

   Make a cut starting a little less than half way down the right side to the top of the left side

   Flip the paper to the other side. The longer side should be on the right. Make a slit as shown in the picture

   Unfold the star. Push the slits forward. Make a cut from the right edge to the center crease of each of the 6 slits. Do not cut the left side.

   Fold each to the left

    Cut 2 small triangles

    Glue them together to make a small star

    Glue the small star to the center of the back of the large one. This will keep it flat.

    Insert the pin through the center of the star and then into the eraser If any of the flaps were flattened fold them out again.
