How to make the god’s eye of the Mexican Indians

   Step 1

   
   Materials: 2 sticks – wooden skewers, chop sticks or wood sticks Wool or colored strings

   Step 2

   
   Cross the sticks. Bring the string or wool from behind and up over the top stick to the left

   Step 3

   
   Wrap the wool or string behind the top stick
4. 4

   Bring the string down over to the left side

   Wrap the string behind the left side and up behind the top to form an X

   Repeat weaving an X a few times

   Wrap the string over and behind the stick to the right

   Bring the string over the bottom stick

   Wrap the string over and behind the bottom stick and bring it up and over the next stick on the left.

    Continue wrap the string over and behind the sticks working your way around and around.

    Keep wrapping the string until you have covered the amount of area you want the center color to be.

    Cut the string and start wrapping the next color the same way – over and behind

    Continue wrapping the second color until you have covered as much area you want and then cut the string.

    Repeat with the third color and when you have finished make a knot. Cut the string but leave enough to hang the god’s eye with
