How to make a box from circles
This guide will show you how to make a pretty box with interlocking circles

Step 1
Materials: Scrap paper 2 different colors of sturdy paper Pen and scissors Round object to trace the circles Ruler or straight edge - 2

Trace the round object 2 times on scrap paper. Cut out the circles - 3

Fold the circles in half. - 4
Step 4
Align the straight edges of the folded circles to the sides and bottom of scrap paper. Mark the tops of the circles - 5

Use the marks to draw a straight line. Cut along the straight line - 6

Take the strip of paper you just cut off. Make a straight fold on the paper. The measurement from the edge to the fold will be the height of your box. Cut along the fold - 7

Glue the cut paper to the paper strip. Make sure it is aligned at the top and bottom. - 8

Align the straight edges of the folded circles to the sides of the piece you glued in the last step. Glue them in place. - 9

Cut along the edges of the glued pieces. This is the template. - 10

Trace the template 2 times on each color. Cut out along the lines. - 11

Fold the template along the straight edges of the half circles. - 12

Carefully align the cut papers to the back of the template. Crease them using the folds of the template as guides. - 13

Make all the creases sharp. Put glue on one of the creased papers. *Shown in yellow in the picture. - 14

Insert a different color and align the edges to make a side of a square. In this case the blue is on the top - 15

Insert the unglued side of the blue under the pink Repeat on the back side and your box is ready!
