How to make a paper toy flexagon

Steps

   Materials: 1 square paper Scissors Colored pencils or markers

   Bring the top and bottom edges together to fold the paper in half. Unfold

   Fold the top and bottom edges to the center crease you just made

   Result Unfold

   Rotate the paper and repeat steps 2 to 4 in the opposite direction The result will be 16 squares

   Bring the bottom edge up to the top edge to fold the paper in half

   The folded edge should be at the bottom. Cut out the 2 middle squares at the bottom fold as shown in the picture.

   Unfold the paper Draw the same picture on the 2 top left squares and the 2 bottom right squares

   Draw a different picture on the top right square, the one underneath it, the bottom left square and the one on top of it.

    Flip the paper over to the back side and repeat steps 8 to 10 with different pictures When you have finished drawing on all the squares, fold the top row down

    Fold the right row to the left

    Hold the right and bottom squares between your fingers Grab the inside of the left top square and push the center point outwards

    Grab the top point and twist it down and to the right

    Flatten out the top and your flexagon toy is ready to play with. To rotate the pictures, grab the bottom left side of the left top flap and pull it upward and at the same time grab the top right side of the bottom right flap and pull it downward.
